The ultralight electric motor is expected to weigh 1/2 as much as regular electric motors of similar power output and use 1/2 as much current. High current DC versions of these resonant motors are expected to be as much as 8 times as powerful for weight and/or size, ideally suited for wind power, aerospace, electric aircraft and drones.
